Use | Uses 3-phosphoglycerate kinase is a key enzyme for glycolysis. It is widely found in animals, plants and microorganisms. It catalyzes the conversion of 1,3-diphosphoglycerate into 3-phosphoglycerate to produce 1 molecule of ATP. It has biological functions such as affecting DNA replication and repair and stimulating viral RNA synthesis. It is widely used in drug target design. |
